The relationship between the properties of a character string input field and the
input and displayed character string is indicated below.
Properties
General
Position Coordinates of the top left corner of the character string
input field
Font Type Font for the characters
Standard/Half Height
Scale Scale at which the character string is displayed (Enlarged
display, page 151)
11 (Equal), 12 (High), 21 (Wide), 22, 33,
44, 88
Smoothing Whether or not smoothing is used for characters with a
scale of 22 or larger (Smoothing, page 151)
Check mark (smoothing executed)/
No check mark (smoothing not executed)
Attribute Display mode for the text (Display attributes and drawing
result, page 214)
Standard/Flash/Inverse Flash
Color
Foreground Display color of the text (Colors other than black and
white are available with the NT31C and NT631C only.)
Black/Blue/Red/Magenta/Green/Cyan/Yellow/White
Background Background color of the text (Colors other than black and
white are available with the NT31C and NT631C only.)
Black/Blue/Red/Magenta/Green/Cyan/Yellow/White
Settings
Table Entry Number of the character string memory table entry to
which the input character string is to be written
Range: 0 to 1999
Length Maximum number of characters in the input character
string
NT21: 1 to 32
NT31/NT31C: 1 to 40
NT631/NT631C: 1 to 40
Focus Frame Presence/absence of a frame indicating that the character
string input field has become ready to accept input
Check mark (frame present)/
No check mark (frame not present)
Focus Attribute Display status before the input character string is
confirmed (Display attributes and drawing result, page
214)
Standard/Inverse/Flash/Inverse Flash
Interlock Function
Interlock Presence/absence of interlock control of character string
input
Check mark (interlock)/No check mark (don’t interlock)
PC address settings
PC bit address Allocated interlock bit used to enable/disable operation of
the character string input (See Interlock Bit Allocation on
page 213.)
I/O comments Comment that explains the allocated bit.
Up to 16 characters.
