Eliminate the cause of the error that you are trying to
clear. For details, refer to the PC’s operation manual.

not connected to a PC that
supports Device Monitor.
Check the model of the PC that is connected. (Refer to
2-17-1 Compatible Systems for a table of PCs that
support the Device Monitor function.)
Set Comm. Method to NT
Link (1:1 or 1:N)
(when the Device Monitor
menu is being displayed)
The communications protocol
set at the PT is not 1:1 NT
Link or 1:N NT Link.
Check the memory switches (fourth screen) and set the
connected PC’s serial port protocol to 1:1 NT Link or
1:N NT Link. Set the same protocol in the PC.
(Serial port reception error
screen being displayed)
The connecting cable is
disconnected or faulty.
Verify the connection between the PT and PC. For
details, refer to section 7 of the Setup Manual.
