Reference: If the objective input field is shifted before confirming the input, the input nu-
meric value is canceled and the screen returns to the one displayed before the
numeric value was input.
When a numeric input is confirmed, the PT checks whether the input is within
the upper and lower (max./min.) limits set for that numeral setting input field. If
the numeric value is outside the specified range, the buzzer sounds three
times, the input numeric value is canceled, and the screen returns to the dis-
play before starting the input. In this case, neither writing to a numeral memory
table entry nor notification to the host is executed.
If the
key is pressed to confirm the input, the same field remains as the objec-
tive input field even after the previous input has been confirmed. If the ENT key
is used for the confirmation of the input, the next input field is selected as the
objective input field.
When NT20S or NT30/620 compatible mode is being used, the current screen
number occupies the first word of the PT status notify area and the words con-
taining the updated memory table entry number and PT status notify bits are
shifted down one word. (Refer to page 451.)
Specifying the Objective Numeral Setting Input Field Using the Input Key –
Control
To specify the objective numeral setting input field using the touch switch input
key – control, follow the procedure described below.
Reference: Use the procedures below to specify which input field (numeral or character
string) is active and will receive inputs. When both numeral and character-string
input fields have been created in a screen, the input fields will be selected based
on their position and the order in which they were created regardless of the type
of input (numeral or character string).

Pressing the HOME and ↑, ↓, ←, → keys selects the objective input field in the
manner shown below.

Pressing the HOME key selects the field at the upper left of the screen as the
objective input field. If several input fields are arranged at the same distance
from the upper left corner of the screen, the one at the left most position is se-
lected as the objective input field.
Reference: The cursor may not move in the proper order if the X,Y coordinates of the upper
left corners of the input fields are not aligned.
Specifying the Objective Input Field Using the
And Keys
Pressing the
and keys shift the objective input field in the order the input
fields were created using the Support Tool.
When three numeral setting input fields have been created, for example, the ob-
jective input field shifts in the order they were created as shown below.
