  If you're experiencing no communications with your personal computer when using Omron Accessories, try turning the power supplies of the Interface Unit and Air Particle Sensor Amplifier Units off and then back on again. If communications still do not start after restarting the Sensor, check points (i) to (iv).

  If the BUSY indicator isn't lighting up on your Omron Accessories, it could be due to a few reasons: * No signal is being sent to the Interface Unit: Ensure the sensor is connected with the correct cable and not a straight cable by mistake. * Confirm the sensor is correctly connected. * Verify that the correct communications port is set.

  If the sensor communications LED or the external terminal communications LED ERR indicator does not light even after 5 seconds has elapsed for Omron Accessories, make sure the mode switch on the Air Particle Sensor Amplifier Unit is set to RUN. Also, check if the Amplifier Units are connected correctly to each other, and if the Interface Unit is connected correctly to the Amplifier Unit. Finally, verify that the Amplifier Unit has started up properly.
