What to do if my Omron Accessories unit is flashing?

      Jerome StewartJul 27, 2025
If your Omron Accessories unit is flashing, it could be due to several reasons. First, check if any of the judgement outputs are short-circuited and clear any short-circuits. If the flashing continues, it might be due to EEPROM destruction or data error; try pressing the ENT Key for 3 seconds or longer, and if that doesn't work, replace the Amplifier Unit. Also, ensure the Sensor Head is properly connected; if it is and the issue persists, replace the Sensor Head. Finally, the incident level may be insufficient or saturated, or a distance measurement error may be occurring; optimize the gain setting, select AUTO mode, or ensure the workpiece is within the measurable range. If optimizing the gain setting or selecting AUTO mode does not solve the problem, change to an appropriate workpiece.
