9 Model 768 Auxiliary Interface Panel (AIP)
The model 768 auxiliary interface panel (AIP) is an interface device designed to provide for connections
between the phase selector and the traffic control cabinet wiring. It provides a breakout of the AIP
connector on the front of the phase selector. The AIP is required for the following:
Installations using requiring more than four outputs
Green sense
Time Sync output
Connection for output inhibit
Access to RS-232 COM ports three and four
Connections for auxiliary detector inputs (IR operation only)
Confirmation lights controlled by the phase selector
Connector for existing green sense harnesses and auxiliary interface panels.
