Call LED lights and controller
responds, but green light not
granted in time.
Phase selector timing. Verify that there is no call delay in
phase selector and controller.
Controller not programmed
correctly.
Program preemption routines to
respond as quickly and safely as
possible.
Range and ETA set too short. Increase range and/or ETA.
Approach map is not long enough,
or is drawn incorrectly.
Redraw approach map.
Call was placed, but then dropped.
Radio/GPS unit is obstructed
preventing constant radio
reception.
Move unit or increase lost signal
timeout.
Call LED lights, but intersection
displays all red lights.
Controller preemption input is not
programmed.
Program preemption inputs to
display green light as quickly and
safely as possible.
Call to controller will not drop. Long call hold time or lost signal
hold time programmed.
Reduce hold time.
Vehicle is not in disable mode Activate vehicle disable switch
Phase selector failed. Replace phase selector.
Rear COM port enabled See section 12.3.1
Controller input failed. Replace controller.
Times in log are incorrect. Time localization not set or set
incorrectly.
Set correct offset for your area.
GPS will not acquire.
(Radio LED is amber.)
Initial start-up may take up to 15
minutes.
Wait 15 minutes.
Radio/GPS unit’s view of sky is
obstructed.
Move unit or remove obstructions.
Garage GPS repeater not operating. Repair or replace GPS repeater.
RF interference. Turn off phase selector for 15
minutes, and then try again.
Incorrect wiring. Check wiring at both ends of
radio/GPS cable.
Radio/GPS cable connector
(terminal block) plugged in
backwards.
Plug in terminal block correctly.
Radio/GPS unit failed. Return unit to GTT for service.
Phase selector failed. Return unit to GTT for service.
No power to GPS receiver. Check voltage between brown (+)
and brown/white () wires at both
ends. It should be about 8.3 VDC.
