INSTALLATION
1INSTALLATION
1.1 Unpack the delivery
1. Check if the delivery is complete. Refer to the Appendix.
2. Check your delivery on damage.
3. Report damages or missing parts immediately to Orga. Refer to the contact
information on the last page.
1.2 Preparation
1. Collect the correct installation materials. These are not included in the delivery:
IECEx or ATEX certified cable glands. The cable gland must meet the
specifications:
- suitable for the supplied power supply cable (min. three cores for L, N and
PE) and suitable for a M25x1.5 cable entry;
- suitable for ambient temperatures as specified in chapter 5;
- with ingress protection of at least IP66;
- certified to EN60079-0:2009, EN60079-7:2007 and EN60079-18:2009
(ATEX) or IEC60079-0: 2007-10, IEC60079-7: 2009 and IEC60079-18:
2006-07 (IECEx);
4 max.M10 (fixing) bolts;
PE wire, cross-sectional area min. 4 mm

1.3 Safety during installation
WARNING
The permitted short circuit current is maximum 35 A.
WARNING
Before you start the electrical installation, make sure that:
- the mains power supply is disconnected, and
- the 24 Vdc is separated from the electrical system.
WARNING
Make sure that the external earth connection on the platform is located within
30 centimetres of the lantern.
