2.6 Ex certificates
This lighting fixture complies with the instructions and safety precautions in the Ex
certificates. Both certificates show the applied Safety standards.
2.6.1 ATEX certification
The lighting fixture complies with the regulations as shown in the ATEX certification and is
suitable for use in areas with an explosive atmosphere. Refer to Appendix B.
2.6.2 IECEx certification
The lighting fixture complies with the regulations as shown in the IECEx certification and is
suitable for use in areas with an explosive atmosphere. Refer to Appendix C.
2.6.3 EC - Declaration of Conformity
The lighting fixture complies with the regulations as shown in the EC - Declaration of
conformity. Refer to Appendix D.
WARNING
Only an electrical engineer is allowed to do the electrical installation.
WARNING
Make sure that the mains power supply is disconnected before you start the
electrical installation.
WARNING
Make sure you comply with the (pre)conditions for electrical systems in
explosive atmospheres.
CAUTION
The L85EX is suitable for use in locations with a low risk of mechanical
danger.
