8.3 Charge Dock
The Charge Dock guides the OTTO 100 SDV to ensure alignment between the vehicle and charger
electrical contacts and it supports the electrical charge contacts in a way that allows for automatic
adjustment to wear in the contacts. The shape of the dock is a geometric feature that the OTTO 100 SDV
uses when docking and it features mechanical guides to correct any misalignment. It is therefore important
that the geometry of the OTTO Charge Dock is not obstructed or altered in any way.
8.3.1 Lifting Points
The Charge Dock includes 4 lifting points to be used when unboxing or relocating the charger (see the
following).
See Unboxing for more detail on using the lifting points.

8.4 Extension Cables
The extension cables that connect the Charge Dock to the Charger Electronic Unit, supplying high-current,
and the low-level logic signals required for communication with the docked vehicle.
Caution
Since these cables are long and can be run along the floor to the Charge Dock, precautions
should be taken to avoid creating a tripping hazard and damage to the cables (eg. a cable tray
can be used to protect the cables where possible).
