12.1 Bi-Monthly Preventative Maintenance
For optimal performance, complete the following tasks bi-monthly:
12.1.1 Damage Check
Charger components that will suffer wear and tear are the guide rollers, the charge contacts, and the charge
cartridge hinges. A quick inspection should confirm charger functionality.

1. Check that all guide rollers spin freely.
2. Check for vertical play between contact cartridge and inner cover. The cartridge should be able to
travel 5 - 10 mm.
3. Check that charge contact surfaces are smooth and that the wear indicator notch is visible - if not, it
will need to be replaced.

4. Check that contact carriers are undamaged
5. Check extension cable for damage.
