9 UNBOXING
If the shipping container must be opened outdoors, take proper precautions to prevent the entrance of
moisture.
While unpacking, examine the product for broken, bent, or loose parts or other damage. If damage from
shipment is evident, file a damage claim with the transportation company and contact OTTO Motors
Support.
Selection and implementation of the lifting method appropriate for the situation, and liability therefor,
remains the sole responsibility of the user. Only certified forklift operators should attempt lifting the
charger.
Crush
Care should be taken to ensure that the charger does not shift or move during any hoisting or
lowering activities.
Caution
Lifting the charger in any manner other than that specified may result in permanent damage to
the charger.
