Pinch
Take care to avoid pinching hazards when installing Charge Dock tower covers.
7. Tighten cord grip to firmly clamp the Charger Electronic Unit power and signal lines in place.
8. Install the left-side right-side Charge Dock tower cover.
10.2.5 Charge Dock Shimming
While the charger system is still locked-out, confirm that the distance between the charge contacts is
between 504 and 507 mm (nominal being 505 mm). If the distance is greater than 507 mm, the Charge Dock
plate may have bowed while being fastened to the floor.

1. Loosen the nut holding the plate to the floor and, if necessary, shim the outer edges of the Charge
Dock Plate to decrease the distance between the charge contacts.
2. If the distance between the charge towers is too small, place the provided shims underneath the
Charge Dock Plate between the contact towers.
