Diagnosis Procedures and Cause
Measures to be Taken
There is a gas leak
Lower than the standard value
Below 0.7A
Higher than the
standard value
0.7A and above
There is no gas leak
Check the AC current flowing in the white wire on the outdoor unit
terminal. (Measure the current when the compressor is rotating almost
at its maximum operating speed.)
Replace the outdoor unit control board.
Replace the compressor.
Replace the capillary tube or expansion
valve.
Replace the part from which gas is
leaking.
Check the gas pressure during the rated cooling operation.
Check for presence of gas leak.
