Recording/Scheduled recordtng/Copying
Cannot record. .You haven t inserted a d_sc or the drsc you inserted cannot be recorded on Insert a dtsc the

Management
• Some programs have hmttattons on the number of ttmes they can be recorded (CPRM)
• You cannot record when there _snot enough space or when the number of titles has reached

• You cannot record d=rectly to DVD-R DL and +R DL discs with this untt You must first record
to the HDD. and then copy from the HDD to dtsc
• IE'I'_II _ In the followtng sltuattons, you cannot copy Delete unnecessary tttles from the
HDD and then copy
- If there ts net enough space available on the HDD (If you will copy tttles from the HDD to a
blank dtsc and fill the enttre dtsc, HDD dtsc space equtvalent to 4 hours of SP mode
recordtng is necessary)
- If the total number of tttles recorded on the HDD or htles to be cepted exceed 500
• You cannot record and copy on finahzed dtscs
However you can record and copy agatn if you format DVD-RW and +RW dtsc
• Due to pecuhanttes of DVD-R, DVD-R DL, DVD-RW (DVD-Wdeo format), +R, +R DL and
+RW you may be unable to record onto them tfyou etther insert and remove the disc or swttch
the unit on and off whtle a dtsc _sloaded, a total of fifty ttmes
• A DVD-R DVD-R DL, DVD-RW (DVD-Vtdeo format). +R, +R DL and +RW recorded on this
untt may not be recotdable on other Panasontc DVD Recorders
• If you connect a DISH Network, scheduled recordtng ustng the TV Gutde On Screen '_'or
VCR Plus+ system does not work However, If DISH Network ts selected tnTV Gutde Setup,
then you can set scheduled recordtngs w_th the DISH Network recewer
Cannot record from external • Check that the connectton ts correct

The DV camcorder recording •If images cannot be recorded or tf the recordtng is aborted check the connecttons and DV

are not successive
