About recovery
If faulty m anagem ent information is found, the m essages may appear and a repair is
perform ed. (R epairing may take time depending on the error.)
p is displayed w hen abnormal m anagem ent information is detected when the scenes
are displayed in thum bnail.

f the unit is turned off during video recording, scenes of less than 30 seconds are not
recorded.
p Use a sufficiently charged battery or the AC adaptor.
p D epending on the condition of the data, it may not be possible to com pletely repair the
data.
p If recovery fails, it will not be possible to play back scenes recorded befor
e the unit turned
off.
p When data recorded on another device is recovered, it may not be possible to play back
the data on this unit or the other device.
p If recovery fails, turn the unit off and on again after waiting
a while. If recovery fails
repeatedly, format a media on the unit. Please be aw are that if a m edia is formatted, then
all the data recorded on the media will be erased.
p If the thum bnail information is recovered,
displaying the thum bnails may becom e slow er.
