When installing the software, log on to your com puter as the Adm inistrator or with a
usernam e with equivalent authorization. (If you do not have authorization to do this, consult
your m anager.)
p Before starting the install
ation, close all applications that are running.
p Do not perform any other operations on your PC while the software is being installed.
p Explanation of operations is based on Window s 7.
1 Insert the CD-ROM into the PC.
p The [AutoPlay] screen is displayed autom atically. Click [Run setup.exe]  [Yes].
p If Window s 7 is in use or the [AutoPlay] screen is not displayed autom atically, select [Start]
 [Computer] (or double-click on [Com puter]
on the desktop), and then double-click
[Panasonic].
2 Click [Yes].
p O perate follow ing the instru c tion on the screen.
p If the country or region cannot be selected, select [NTSC Area].
w Uninstalling HD W riter LE 1.1
Follow the steps below to uninstall any software applications that you no longer require.
1 Select [Start][Contro l P a n e l][Uninstall a program ].
2 Select [HD W riter LE 1.1], then click [Uninstall].
p Proceed with the uninstallation by follow ing the on-screen instructions.
p After uninstalling the software, be sure to reboot the PC.
With a PC
Installation
The PC must be rebooted for the application to work.
