p C onnect this unit to the PC after the software applications are installed.
p Rem ove the supplied CD-ROM from your PC.
USB cable (supplied)
p Insert the plugs as far as they will go.
1 Connect this unit to the AC adaptor.
p Use the AC adaptor to free you from worrying about the battery running dow n.
2 Turn on the unit.
p This function is available in all m odes.
3 Connect this unit to a PC.
p The USB function selection screen will appear.
4 Select [PC] using the cursor button on the unit and press the ENTER
button.
p The Sm art wizard screen is autom atically displayed w hen HD W riter LE 1.1 is installed.
p This unit is autom atically recognized as an external drive of the PC. (F 96)
p When you select an option other than [PC], reconnect the USB cable.
p When
using the battery, the LCD monitor turns off after about 5 seconds. Press the cursor
button to turn the LCD monitor on.
p Do not use any other USB cables except the supplied one. (Operation is not guaranteed
with any other USB cables.)
p When this unit is connected to a PC using a USB cable while the unit is turned on, pow er is
also supplied from the PC to this
unit.
p When the unit is connected to a PC, it cannot be turned off.
Disconnect the USB cable, before turning this unit off.
p When performing reading/writing betw een a PC and an SD card, be aw are that som e SD
card slots built into PCs and som e
SD card readers are not com patible with the SDHC
Memory Card or SDXC Memory Card.
p When using an SDXC Memory Card, check the follow ing support site.
