When about 30 m inutes have passed without any operation while connecting the AC adaptor
with this unit, the unit autom atically turns off.
p This unit will not autom atically turn off even if the [ECONOMY (AC)] is set to [ON]
in
follow ing cases:
LUsing the USB cable for PC etc.
LPRE-REC is used
LDuring playback of the slide show
This unit is put into recording pause approx. 0.6 seconds after the LCD m onitor is reopened.
p When in Quick Start Standby M ode about 40% of the pow er used i
n Recording pause
m ode is being consum ed, so the re c o rd ing time will be reduced.

Quick Start will not work if there is no SD card inserted.
p
Quick Start will not work if the [SD CARD] is selected in the [MEDIA SELECT], even if ther
e
is no SD card inserted.
p Change the m ode to .
1Set [QUICK START] to [ON].
2Close the LCD m onitor.
The status indicator flashes green and the unit
goes into Quick Start Standby M ode.
3Open the LCD m onitor.
The status indicator

lights red and the unit is put
into recording pause.
p Quick Start Standby Mode is canceled if
Labout 5 minutes have elapsed

p It may take som e time for Autom atic White Balance to adjust.
p In the Quick Start Mode, the zoom magnification becom es approx. 1M.
p When it has gone into
Quick Start Standby M ode autom atically with the [ECONOMY
(BATT)] (F 41)/[ECO NOM Y (AC)], close the LCD m onitor once and open it again.
p Turn the unit off using the pow er button.
