Connecting with a HDMI mini cable
Select the desired method of HDMI output.
p [AUTO ] determines the output resolution autom atically based on information from the
connected TV.
If the im ages are not output on the TV w hen the setting is [AUTO ], sw itch to the method
[1080i]
or [480p] which enables the im ages to be displayed on your TV. (Please read the
operating instructions for the TV.)
Connecting with the AV multi cable
AV multi connector output setting can be changed.
Changing the com ponent output setting

: [SETUP]  [AV MULTI]  desire d setting
[COMPONENT]: W hen connecting to the com ponent terminal
[AV OUT]: W hen connecting to the video terminal
: [SETUP]  [COMPONENT OUT]  desire d setting
[1080i]: When connecting to the com ponent terminal on the TV com patible with
1080i. (Playback is in high-definition quality.)
[480i]: When connecting to the com ponent terminal on the TV com patible with 480i.
(Playback is in standard quality.)
