Inserting/re m o v ing an SD card
Caution:
C heck that the access lam p has gone off.
1 Open the SD card cover and
insert/re m o v e the SD card into/
fro m the card slot .
p Face the label side in the direction
show n in the illustration and press it
straight in as far as it will go.
p Press the center of the SD card and then
pull it straight out.
2 Securely close the SD card
cover.
p Securely close it until it clicks.
p Do not touch the terminals on the back of
the SD card.
p Do not apply strong shocks, bend, or drop
the SD card.
p Electrical noise, static electricity or the
failure of this unit or the SD card may
dam age or erase the data
stored on the
SD card.
p When the card access lam p is lit, do not:
LRemove the SD card
LTurn the unit off
LInsert and rem ove the USB cable
LExpose the unit to vibrations or shock
Performing the above while the lam p is on
may result in dam age
to data/SD card or
this unit.
p Do not expose the terminals of the SD
card to water, dirt or dust.
p
Do not place SD cards in the follow ing areas:
LIn direct sunlight
LIn very dusty or hum id areas
LNear a heater
LLocations susceptible to significant
difference in tem perature (condensation
can occur).
LWhere static electricity or
electrom agnetic w aves occur
p To protect SD cards, ret
urn them to their
cases w hen you are not using them .
p About disposing of or giving aw ay the SD
card. (F 111)
W hen using an SD card not from Panasonic, or one previously used on other equipm ent,
for the first time on this unit, format t
he SD card. (F 44) W hen the SD card is formatted, all
of the recorded data is deleted. Once the data is deleted, it cannot be restored.
A ccess lam p [ACCESS]
p W hen this unit is accessing the SD
card or built-in memory, the access
lam p lights up.
