w About batteries that you can use with this unit
The battery that can be used with this unit is VW -VBK180/VW -VB K 360.
p The unit has a function for distinguishing batteries which can be used safely. The
dedicated battery (VW -V B K 180/VW -VB K 360) supports this function. The only
batteries suitable for use with this uni
t are genuine Panasonic products and
batteries m anufactured by other com panies and certified by Panasonic. (Batteries
that do not support this function cannot be used). Panasonic cannot in any w ay
guarantee the quality, perform ance or safety of batteries which have been
manufactured by other com panies and are
not genuine Panasonic products.
Inserting/re m o v ing the battery
p Press the power button to turn off the unit. (F 26)
Install the battery by inserting it in the dire c tion show n in the figure.

It has been found that counterfeit battery packs which look very similar to the
genuine product are made available to purchase in som e markets. Som e of these
battery packs are not adequately protected with internal protection to m eet the
require m e n ts of appropriate safety standards. There
is a possibility that these
battery packs may lead to fire or explosion. Please be advised that we are not liable
for any accident or failure occurring as a result of use of a counterfeit battery pack.
To ensure that safe products are used we w ould recom m end that a genui
ne
Panasonic battery pack is used.
Rem oving the battery
Be sure to hold dow n the pow er button until
the status indicator goes off. Then rem ove
the battery while supporting the unit to
prevent it from dropping.
Move the battery re lease lever in the
dire c tion indicated by the arrow and
rem ove the batt
ery when unlocked.

locks.
