Dividing a scene (AVCHD)
It is possible to divide an AVCHD scene. Any unw anted parts in the scene can be deleted
after dividing.
p Change the m ode to , and set [VIDEO/PICTURE] of the play m ode selection to
[AVCHD]. (F 36)
1 Select the menu.
2 Select the scene you wish to divide using the cursor button and
press the ENTER button.
3 Select to set the dividing point.
p It is convenient to use Slow -motion Playback and
Fram e-by-fram e Playback. (F 63)
p Select [YES] to continue dividing the sam e scene.
To continue dividing other scenes, select [NO] and
repeat

4 Press the MENU button to com plete dividing.
p Unwanted parts can be deleted. (F 69)
To delete all the divided points
p The scenes that were deleted after division cannot be recovered.
p You cannot divide a scene if the num ber of scenes of a given date w ould exceed 99
scenes.
p It may not be possible to divide scenes with a short recording time.
p Data that has been recorded or edited on another device cannot be divided and the divided
points cannot
be deleted.
