When you start re c o rd ing, the image/audio gradually
appears. (Fade in)
When you pause re c o rd ing, the image/audio gradually
disappears. (Fade out)
p The Fade setting is canceled w hen the recording stops.
w To select the color for Fade in/out
p The thum bnails of scenes recorded using fade in becom e black (or white).
p If the recordable time runs out w hen you start recording, the recording fades out and stops
autom atically.
This m akes the image brighter to prevent darkening of a backlit subject.
Select the desire d icon using the cursor
button to display an explanation on the
screen.
To exit the Help Mode
Press the MENU button or select [END].
p You cannot record or set functions while in Help Mode.
You can check if the image is level while rec o rd ing. The function can also be used to
estimate the balance of the com position.
It will sw itch every time the icon is selected.
