6.3.2 Mixed Batch Card Guide
The mixed batch card guide prevents a card from skewing when scanning paper documents and a card
simultaneously. The mixed batch card guide is attached to the unit during shipping. If you remove the mixed
batch card guide, keep it in a safe place.
6.3.2.1 Removing the mixed batch card guide
With your fingers, slightly open the "fins" (
) on both sides of the mixed batch card guide ( ), and then
keeping it open, remove the guide ( ).
6.3.2.2 Installing the mixed batch card guide
Insert the tabs on the mixed batch card guide into the holes near the paper slot ( ).
Note
• If the guide is difficult to insert into the holes, slightly spread both sides of the guide and try inserting
it.
