4.12 Power Failure Connections
When the power supply to the PBX and/or Expansion Unit fails, power failure transfer (PFT) will switch from
the
current connection to the Power Failure Connection. Refer to "5.6.2 Power Failure Transfer" in the Feature
Guide for further information.
The table below shows PFT support Cards and PFT support ports.

Note
A trunk conversation established during power failure can be maintained even when the power returns and
the connection is switched back to the normal configuration from the Power Failure Connection.
Power Failure Connection
In the case of KX-NS500
In the event of a power failure, a specific SLT port is automatically supplied power through the CO port. The
PFT ports are the port 1-2 (on pre-installed MCSLC16) and port 1-2 (on pre-installed LCOT6).
