Selecting the Dialing Mode
If you have touch tone service, set to ‘Tone" If rotary or pulse service is
used, set to “Pulse" Your phone comes from the factory set to ‘Tone"
Make sure the unit is in the standby mode

Press f^~) or f~] repeatedly until the arrow
points to “Program"
Press FWD/EDIT® (Yes key)
Press B) or (3 repeatedly until the arrow
points to "Set dial mode"
Press FWD/EDIT® (Yes key)
Press B or to select "Pulse" or
“Tone" Press FWD/EDIT ( ► } (Save key)

■ If either line has rolary or pulse service, sel to “Pulse" When making a call
using a line which has touch lone service, press [TONE) first and then dial the
number
