Storing Caller List information in the
Directory
You can store numbers that are in the Caller List in the directory
This feature can operate only with the handset.
Make sure the unit is in the standby mode
I L ift the handset off the base unit and
press O or 0 to enter the Caller List
2 Press (3 or Q repeatedly to find the
caller you want to store in the directory
Press FWD/EDIT ( ► ) (Yes key)
• If the number requires editing, see page 42
3 Press ( ▼ ] or Q to select “Save
directory” Press FWD/EDfT ( ► } (Yes
key)
If there is no name information for the
caller, “Enter name” Will be
displayed
a) If a name is not required, press ( ▼ ]
(Next key) and FWD/EDIT ( ► ] (save key)
b) If a name is required, enter the name
(p 51) When finished, press ( ▼ ]
(Next key) and FWD/EDIT (V) (Save
key)
• A beep sounds
•The display will return to step 2 You can
continue storing other items
To return to the standby mode, press
(FUNCTION/EXIT/CHl
•You can exit the programming mode any time by pressing ( F UNCTION/EXIT/CH)
•If the display shows “Directory f u l l ” in step 3, the display will return to
step 2 Press [FUNCTtON/EXIT/CH] to exit the list To erase other stored items
from the directory, see page 57
• You cannot store caller information in the directory if a phone number is not
displayed
• If the display shows “Save error” or “No link to base Place on
cradle and try again " in step 3, the item cannot be stored in the directory
