4. Follow these procedures to automatically reset the address.
After switching the power supply to ON for all the indoor and outdoor units by
pressing and holding down SW6 on the control board of the outdoor unit for more
than 4 seconds, the address will automatically reset.
(LED 2 through 9 on the outdoor unit’s control board will light up.
Release SW6 to confirm the reset once all the LED lights 2 through 9 have lit up.)
• If the outdoor unit’s and the indoor unit’s indoor unit address are not “000”, then it
will not automatically reset the address.

Manual address setting instructions
Note: Manual address setting cannot be done on wall type indoor units.
1. The manual address setting is conducted by using the switch on each indoor / outdoor unit’s control board.
(Refer to the diagram below)
2. Set the power supply switch for all units to OFF. The address you set is stored when the power is turned on.
3. To change the address that is already set, turn the power supply OFF and reset the switch.
• The address number “000” cannot be used.
• Set the order for the unit address starting from “001” without skipping, as this facilitates the procedural tasks,
maintenance and inspection checks.
• Before switching on the power supply of the outdoor unit(s), ensure that the bus lines power supply is
switched on by setting switch SW5 to ON.

Name and setting directions
Outdoor unit
This address is to differentiate all the outdoor units individually.
The outdoor unit address must not be duplicated on outdoor units of
other refrigerant piping systems.
Setting is possible between “001” and “199”.
Indoor unit
The address shows which outdoor unit it is linked to.
Set the same number as the refrigerant piping system’s outdoor unit.
Setting is possible from “01” to “99”.
This address is to individually differentiate all the indoor units.
Avoid setting (duplicating) any number that is already used by the
units.
Setting is possible from “001” to “199”.
