Before the Walking TRS Class of Service feature can be used, a Walking
Class of Service code must be entered at your extension before using dialing
privileges at another extension.
Operation
To enter a Walking Class of Service code:
1. Pick up the handset.
The phone issues intercom dial tone.
2. Dial “#12.”
3. Enter the four-digit Walking Class of Service code (0001-9999).
4. Press “#.”
5. Replace the handset.
To use a Walking Class of Service code:
1. Pick up the handset of an extension other than your own.
The phone issues intercom dial tone.
2. Dial “#13.”
3. Enter your extension number.
4. Enter your Walking Class of Service code.
5. Press “#.”
6. Enter a trunk access code (88XX, 9, 81-86).
The phone issues outside dial tone.
7. Dial the telephone number.
The Walking Class of Service remains in effect until you replace the
handset.
To clear a Walking Class of Service code:
1. Pick up the handset.
The phone issues intercom dial tone.
