Hardware Requirements
Calls during Night Mode are often directed to external paging speakers or
to an external ringing device, such as a night bell. External paging and
ringing devices are not provided with the DBS; they must be purchased
separately.
Considerations
If “#52” is assigned to an FF key on an attendant phone, the attendant can
switch between Day and Night Modes simply by pressing the key. The FF
key lights red when the system is in night mode.
If there are two Attendant Phones and both DSS consoles have a
NIGHT
key (programmed on a FF key), both
NIGHT
indicators will light red
when Night Mode is activated.
If the system is programmed to switch between night and day modes
automatically, you
cannot
switch between modes by using “#52.”
