It is necessary to identify safety measures to protect the operator, based on an estimate of exposure under
actual operating conditions (taking into account all parts of the operating cycle, such as the time the machine
is switched off and the time it is idling, in addition to the working time).
3.3. PRESENTATION OF ACTIV' SECURITY
The Pruning shears C3X is equipped with a patented
anti-cutting injuries system, the Activ' Security.
This technology allows the blade to stop immediately
when it comes into contact with the operator's finger or
hand, with gloves PELLENC or without gloves.
The Activ' Security works thanks to a natural conductive
circuit created via 3 contact points.
Note
The use of conductive gloves PELLENC is
recommended for optimal safety in very wet or
extreme conditions.
Two model types are available:
• The Activ' Security Comfort glove, a special size
and preserves dexterity at work.
• The Activ' Security Vegetation glove, specially
for thicker branches, with a waterproof and
breathable membrane, ideal for clearing wood.
