6.8. CHANGING BLADE OR SHAFT
6.8.1. REMOVAL OF THE BLADE AND ITS PIN
1. Open the blade fully.
See 5.3. Blade openings, page 22.
2. Switch off the tool.
See 5.5. Switching off the pruning shears, page 25.
3. Disconnect the battery from the tool.
See 4.3. Disconnecting the battery from the tool, page 16.
4. Loosen the screw.
4. Remove the screw.
4. Remove the maintenance hatch (1).
5. Loosen the nut (2) using the spanner provided (3).
6. Remove the nut (2).
9. Remove the parts in this order:
• The blade pin (4),
• The washer (5),
• The knurled adjustment washer (6),
• The circlip (7) by levering with a small
screwdriver,
• the clevis pin (8).
10. Remove the blade (9) and dispose of it.
