5.3. BLADE OPENINGS
5.3.1. FULL OPENING OF THE BLADE POSITION BLADE IN WIDE-OPEN POSITION BEFORE ANY
MAINTENANCE OPERATION
1. Check the tool and battery connectors for
contamination.
2. Insert the battery until you hear it click into place.
1. Press the ON/OFF button (1).
Note
The tool will emit a series of beeps to indicate
that it is switching on.
The tool will emit three short beeps to indicate
that it is switching on.
The Activ' Security LED flashes slowly red.
2. Take the tool into your hand.

If Activ' Security is activated:
• Hold the tool in your hand, making sure your
fingers are in contact with the conductive pad (2).
• Place the index finger of the hand holding the tool
on the trigger (3).
• Grip on both sides of the blade pin (4) with the
other hand.
• Release the blade pin (4).
The tool emits a series of beeps.
4. Press the trigger (3) with the index finger of the hand
holding the tool.
The blade opens.
