Preparing the Power Center Enclosure
BeforemountingthePowerCenter,rstremovethefrontdoorandthehighvoltagecoverpanelto
access the enclosure conduit knockouts and low voltage raceway (see pages 3 and 4).
To remove the Power Center high voltage cover panel:
1. Unpack the Power Center from the shipping carton.
2. Unlatch the front door spring latch and open the front door.
3. Remove the two (2) retaining screws securing the high voltage cover-panel. Remove the
HIGH VOLTAGE COVER PANEL from the enclosure.
4. For new installation, proceed with:
• MountingthePowerCenter, page 6
• Connecting AC Power to the Power Center, page 7
• ElectricalWiringandHighVoltageConnections,page8
• Installing Conduit and Conductors to the Enclosure,page9
• AccessingtheControlCircuitBoardandElectronics, page 10
• ConnectingaStandardGasHeaterandHeatPump, page 16, 17
5. After electrical connections have be completed, reinstall the high voltage panel and secure
it with the two (2) retaining screws.
BEFORE INSTALLING THE POWER CENTER, ALWAYS SWITCH OFF THE
MAINPOWERintothehomeatthemaincircuitbreakerbox.
