3 Aim the center of the
viewfinder over the subject,
then press the shutter release
button halfway down.
When the subject comes into
focus, the focus indicator lights
up and the audible PCV signal
beeps. (If is blinking, the
subject is not in focus.) The focus
is locked while is lit (focus
lock).
4 Re-compose the picture while
pressing the shutter release
button halfway down.

MEMO
• Turning the zooming ring in focus lock mode may cause the subject out
of focus.
• The audible PCV signal can be turned off. See page 87.
