Wireless Flash (AF360FGZ Only)
With the AF360FGZ, you can discharge a flash without having a
cord connection between the camera and flash unit. The high-
speed sync mode can also be used with wireless flash. See page
120.
1. Place the flash unit at the desired location.
2. Set the flash units power switch to [WIRELESS]
3. Set the flash units sync mode switch to S (Slave).
4. Press the flash pop-up button to enable the built-in flash to
be used.
5. Press the flash mode button until
is displayed.
6. Confirm that both the built-in flash
and external flash unit are fully
charged.
7. Focus on the subject and take the
picture.
MEMO
When the flash is ready (fully charged), the will light in the
viewfinder when the shutter release button is pressed halfway down.
Read the operating manual of the flash unit for more details.
The AF360FGZ can be attached directly to the camera hot shoe and
used instead of the built-in flash. It can also be controlled in wireless
mode.
