Low Battery Warning
When the batteries are nearly
exhausted, the low battery
symbol appears on the
LCD panel to warn you.
Replace the batteries as soon
as possible.

• See page 23 for replacing the batteries.
• Even if the low-battery symbol appears, exposure will be correct as
long as the shutter can be released. It is recommended that you
replace the batteries as soon as possible.
• When the low battery warning starts blinking, the shutter cannot be
released and no indication appears in the viewfinder.
• If the camera has not been used for a long time, the LCD panel may
still display the low battery warning even with a new set of
batteries. In this situation, turn off the camera then turn it on and press
the shutter release button halfway down. When the low battery warning
turns off, you can continue using the camera.
