DAYLIGHT-SYNC SHOOTING
Purpose
In daylight conditions, when a portrait picture is
taken with a person’s face cast in shadow, dis-
charging the flash will eliminate the shadow.
1. Depress the red-eye reduction flash button
to delete [ ] from the LCD panel.
2. Confirm either the built-in or external flash
is fully charged.
3. Take a picture.
• If the background is too bright, it may be overex-
posed.
• When taking a daylight-sync photograph with
[ ] displayed on the LCD panel, the flash
may not discharge.
