tMemo
In rare cases, the camera may not operate correctly due to
static electricity. This can be remedied by taking the battery
out and putting it back in again. If the camera operates
correctly, it does not require any repairs.
Troubleshooting
Problem Cause Remedy
The camera does
not turn on.
Battery is not
installed properly.
Check the orientation of battery.
The battery power
is low.
Charge the battery.
The shutter cannot
be released.
The built-in flash is
charging.
Wait until charging is finished.
There is no
available space on
the memory card.
Insert a memory card with
available space or delete
unwanted images.
Data being
processed.
Wait until processing is
finished.
Autofocus does
not work.
The subject is
difficult to focus
on.
v cannot work well for low-
contrast objects (the sky, white
walls, etc.), dark colors,
intricate designs, rapidly-
moving objects or scenery shot
through a window or a net-like
pattern.
Lock focus on another object
located at the same distance as
your subject, then aim at the
target and take a picture.

The subject is too
close.
Move away from the subject
and take a picture.
The focus cannot
be locked.
