Over temperature spectrometer
If the critical temperature is exceeded at the spectrometer, the message "The temperature is too high!
Switch off Granolyser!" is displayed.
A red exclamation mark is dis-
played in the status bar in addition to
the thermometer symbol .
Measurements are no longer
possible.
Confirm the message and
switch off the GRANOLYSER
immediately!
The cooling down of the spectrometer may take some time depending on the ambient temperature.
Switch the
GRANOLYSER back on after the cooling time. If the temperature symbol is no longer displayed
in the status bar, the
GRANOLYSER is ready for operation again.
9.2 Renewing the internal fuse
There is a plug connection in the mains switch on the back of the instrument. An internal glass micro fuse
is incorporated in this. Item number see chapter10.
NOTICE
Always observe the exact fuse specifications on the type plate!
DANGER
Touching live parts can be fatal!
It is essential to comply with the switch-off procedure prior to cleaning, maintenance
or repair work! (see chapter 2.10)

 Pull out the plug connection.
 Renew the glass micro fuse.
 Insert the plug connection back into the mains switch.
 The
GRANOLYSER is ready for operation.
