each
other
can

a
source
of

a
shock

Make
sure
that
all
equipment
is
interconnected
safely
in
accordance
with
NFPA
(National
Fire
Protection
Association)
70-1990,
National
Electric
Code.

Within
certain
governmental
jurisdictions,
all
interconnected
accessory
equipment
must
be
labeled
by
an
approved
testing
laboratory.
It
is
important
that
you
verify
and
observe
the
required
applications
in
your
location.
Check
leakage
current
and
grounding
requirements
after
interconnecting
this
instrument
with
accessory
equipment.
Possible
instrument
damage.
Sterilization
environments
can
cause
severe
damage
to
the
instrument
and
accessories.
Do
not
autoclave
or
gas sterilize
accessories
unless
manufacturer
instructions
clearly
approve
it.
Possible
instrument

Broken
or
frayed
wires,
or
loose
snap
fittings
may
cause
interference
or
loss
of
signal.
Pay
particular
attention
to
the
point
at
which
the
wires
enter
the
terminals.
Repeated
flexing
at
these
points
eventually
causes
the
wire
strands
to
break.
Perform
frequent
electrical
and
visual
inspections
on
cables
and
wires.
