Perform
each
of
the
following
three
tests
(VF
Detection
and
Shock,
Motion
Detection,
and
Test
Load)
in
sequence.They
are
software
driven
and
cannot
be
manually
delayed
or
interrupted.
Please
read
through
the
entire
test
instruction
before
proceeding.
1.
Set
the
simulator
to
VF
and
press
the
adapter
ANALYZE
pushbutton,
illuminating
the
analyze
LED.
After
analysis
is
complete
(about
10sec),
verify:
+
The
CRT
displays
SHOCK
ADVISED!
PUSH
CHARGE
+
A
priority
one
tone
sounds.
2.
Press
the
adapter
CHARGE
pushbutton
and
verify:
¢
The
CRT
displays
CHARGING
STAND
BY
e
A
priority
one
tone
sounds
e
The
adapter
CHARGE
LED
flashes
3.
When
charging
is
complete
(the
LED
by
the
CHARGE
pushbutton
illuminates
steadily),
verify:
e
The
CRT
displays
PUSH
SHOCK
BUTTONS
STAND
CLEAR!
e
Pressing
only
the
right-hand
adapter
button
discharge
pushbutton
results
in
no
energy
transfer;
pressing
only
the
left-hand
discharge
pushbutton
results
in
no
energy
transfer.
4.
Press
both
adapter
discharge
buttons
and
verify:
e
Adapter
ANALYZE
and
CHARGE
LEDs
are
off
e
The
CRT
displays
200
JOULES
SELECTED
The
steps
below
test
whether
the
patient
leads
are
connected
to
the
patient.
1.
With
the
Patient
Simulator
still
connected,
set
the
simulator
to
NSR.
2.
Press
the
defibrillator
ANALYZE
button.
Three
beeps
will
sound
and
the
CRT
will
display;

ANALYZING
NOW,
