Removing the driving pulley
Driving pulley removal
- Remove the plate operating on the 3 screws.
- With the appropriate tool, remove the nut with the
built-in Belleville washer, the drive common to the
kick-starter version, and the steel washer.
- Remove the fixed driving half-pulley.
- Remove the steel washer separating from the
bushing.

Inspecting the rollers case
- Check that the internal bushing shown in the fig-
ure is not abnormally worn and measure inner
diameter A.
- Measure the pulley sliding bushing outside di-
ameter shown in the figure.
- Check that the rollers are not damaged or worn.
- Check the guide shoes for the variator back-plate
are not worn.
