5.3 - EQUIPMENT ANCHORING AND LIFTING METHOD
HAZARD!
Using lifting equipment (if necessary) for unloading, carrying and handling packages is reserved only for
skilled operators who have been properly trained (and are appropriately qualied if required by the regula-
tions in force in the country of installation) and are familiar with:
• accident prevention rules;
• workplace safety provisions;
• lifting equipment features and limits.
HAZARD!
Before handling a load, make sure that its weight does not exceed the load capacity of the lifting equip-
ment (and any other lifting tools) specied on the specic plate.
ATTENTION!
Before moving the equipment:
• remove any movable or hanging component or rmly secure it to the load;
• protect fragile equipment;
• check that the load is stable;
• make sure to have perfect visibility along the route.
