Fault: The manipulator is not moving reliably and keeps stopping.
Possible cause Remedy
On the connection cable between PRCM1
and PRBT 6, there is too big a voltage drop
when the connection cable is longer than
30m for example.
} Use a shorter connection cable.
} Use a larger cable cross section.
} Slightly increase the supply voltage on the
24 power supply.
Fault: The teach pendant is not displaying anything (display remains dark).
Possible cause Remedy
The connection cable for the teach pendant
is not plugged in on the PRCM1.
Plug the connection cable into the control
cabinet.
The connection cable on the teach pendant
is damaged.

The connector plug is damaged. Please contact Pilz.
The teach pendant is defective. Please contact Pilz.
Fault: The motion controller and safety control system are not starting.
Possible cause Remedy
The circuit breaker (-10F4) for the motion
controller and safety control system has
tripped.
Switch on the circuit breaker.
If the circuit breaker should trip again, look
for the cause.
If you cannot find the cause, please contact
Pilz.
Fault: The end-effector does not move.
Possible cause Remedy
The circuit breaker (-10F3) for the end-ef-
fector has tripped.
Switch on the circuit breaker.
If the circuit breaker should trip again, look
for the cause.
If you cannot find the cause, please contact
Pilz.
The signal cables at X3 (AUX) on the robot
arm have been wired incorrectly.
Check the wiring at X3 (AUX); if necessary
correct the wiring.
