The STO LED at the foot of
the robot arm must light up
green.
3. Trigger emergency stop via
the emergency stop pushbut-
ton on the teach pendant
Result:
} The STO LED at the foot of the
robot arm must light up red.
} In diagnostic view for the safety
control system, a message must
appear on the teach pendant, in-
dicating that the emergency stop
pushbutton has been operated.
If applicable: Check the wiring of
the external safeguard
} Before each (initial) commission-
ing
} Before each recommissioning
(e.g. after modifications)
} In accordance with the require-
ments from the risk analysis
Check whether an appropriate
safeguard is connected at the ded-
icated terminals for a protective
stop on module A1.3 and A1.8
Note:
The external safeguard must have
FS outputs with detection of short
circuits and shorts across con-
tacts.
