PROP SHAFT - FRONT OR REAR
Removal and Installation
1. Using Roll Pin Removal Tool (PN 2872608), remove the roll pin from prop shaft at rear of housing (front only) or
transmission output shaft (rear only). Slide prop shaft back and away from housing, then pull sharply forward to
remove from transmission shaft.
2. For installation, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: If removing rear propshaft, loosening and/or removal of rear gearcase mounting bolts may be
required to gain necessary clearance for propshaft removal.
