Number Action
Select an appropriate weight.
Sit and place your feet on the footplate approximately
shoulder-width apart with your lower leg perpendicular to the
footplate.
Raise the seat handle and position the seat so your knees are at a
90 degree angle. Release the handle to lock the seat in place.
Exercise
Extend your legs in a slow, controlled motion.
Pause at full contraction.
Slowly return to the start position.

Breathe out as you contract your muscles.
Breathe in as you relax your muscles.
