This error message may occur by an incorrect configuration of the RAID
controller.

This error message may occur by an incorrect configuration of the RAID
controller.
RAID controller is not configured for this hard disk drive
The drive was probably installed when the system was switched off.
Ê Reconfigure the RAID controller for the drive with the corresponding utility.

Ê Remove and reinstall the drive while the system is switched ON.
If the drive continues to be shown as defective, then replace it.
